  • The latest census data has just been released, and Calgary is more multicultural than you might have thought. We all know that most of the city isn't from Calgary, but did you know that 1 out of 4 Calgarians isn't even from Canada? Calgary's 25% immigration rate means that we're receiving new residents from all over the world all the time, and many of these don't have the basic English language skills it takes to find a job. In a city desperate for workers, this is a real problem for everyone. The current wait time for new immigrants seeking basic ESL (English as a Second Language) classes is 6 months, and some of us at Tapestry want to help reduce that. If you are interested in helping us begin a new ESL ministry to the many immigrants in our midst, please contact us to find out how you can be part of this.
  • The Ireland Team is getting ready for their journey to the Emerald Isle this March. If you are interested in joining with others to serve the city of Dublin for a week, you need to sign up soon. Please pray for those going and consider whether God would have you support them financially. Contact Dave for more info.
