Youth!
Tapestry's Youth Ministry (Grade 7+) kicks off a new year this Friday, September 12. They'll meet at the Tuscany Club at 6:30 pm and head to Bowness Park for S'mores and games. For more info, please contact Josh & Kelly Genn (403-668-1479).
Fall Family Hike
This Saturday, September 13. We'll meet at 1:00 pm at the Tuscany Club and head out to Kananaskis to hike the Troll Falls trail. This short, easy hike is perfect for the whole family. Come hang out and enjoy some fresh mountain air!
Worship Ministry Meeting
Interested in being a part of Tapestry's worship team? Think you may like to help in some way, but want more information? A meeting is planned for Sunday, September 14 at 5:00 pm at Bob & Debbie Shelton's. Dinner will be provided. Please let Bob know if you plan to come.
Discovering Tapestry
We will hosting another Discovery Class on Sunday, September 28 immediately following morning worship at Max & Lynda Blazina's. This is a great opportunity to learn what our church is about, where we sense God is leading us and how you can be part of the Tapestry family. Pizza lunch will be provided. To sign-up, please contact Steve (403-375-0061). Note, this is the final opportunity to be listed as a charter member of Tapestry Church.
A Note from the Elders
As a follow up to the announcement on Sunday, the transition team and the elders are pleased to present Steve Rathje to serve as Pastor (Lead Elder) for Tapestry Church. Steve has served as an interim leader since March. He has consistently demonstrated Christ-like character and servant leadership. We acknowledge God's call on his life and desire to partner with him as he seeks to live out that call. Please join us in prayer as we will vote on Sunday September 21. (Note: Our date has been adjusted to follow our constitution.)
