Tapestry is showing the movie FIREPROOF next Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30) at the Tuscany Club. Fireproof is an action-packed love story about a firefighter, his wife and a marriage worth rescuing. Tickets are free, but you must have a ticket to get in because seating is limited. To request tickets, to register for childcare, or to view a trailer for the movie, please click here. This isn't just an event for Tapestry - we want to use the opportunity to reach out to our friends and neighbors, so invite others to join you! UNDERSTANDING MORMONISM
Who are the Mormons? What do they believe? Are they just another Christian denomination? Tapestry is hosting an "Understanding Mormonism" session on Thursday, March 5 at 7:00 pm at the Tuscany Club. The session will be led by Dr. James Walker, a former fourth generation Mormon and renowned expert on the faith. For more information or to register, please contact Steve.
The evening session at Tapestry is being held in conjunction with an "Understanding Mormonism" missions event being put on by the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary in Cochrane on March 3-6 (10:00 - 11:15 am each day). On Tuesday, March 3, a Mormon representative will be sharing about "their faith" and then Dr Walker will speak the following days in response and talk in greater detail about what Mormonism is.
