Baby
Bush
Congratulations to Jim & Heather Bush on the safe arrival of their new baby girl! Grace Abigail was born on Tuesday, August 26 weighing in at 8 pounds 1 oz and 20 inches long. The labor was long and trying, but both mom and baby are doing well. Please remember the Bush family in your prayers.
Fall Kick-off
To reconnect as a church family after the summer, to welcome newcomers to Tapestry and to kick-off a new year of ministry, we will be having a potluck after the worship service on Sunday, September 7 at Thom and Lorie Gordon's (59 Church Ranches Blvd). Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided; please bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share.
Children's Ministry
Our kids' programs resume on Sunday, September 7! We love our kids at Tapestry and we want to provide the very best in helping them learn what it means to know, love and follow Jesus. If you are interested in helping out with our children's ministry, please speak with Janet Napady (Nursery), Debbie Shelton (pre-school) or Khara Tait (Grades 1 - 6).
Discovering Tapestry
Early in the fall we will be having another "Discovery Class" - an opportunity for you to learn what our church is about, where we sense God is leading us and how you can be part of the Tapestry family. In the meantime, here is a brief overview of who we are and what we do:
Who we are
Tapestry Church is committed to following the way of Jesus right here in the neighborhood where we live. We want Tuscany to be an even better place because we're a part of it. Here's what we love (our values):
Tapestry isn't just a group to join or a place to attend; it's a way to be. We are committed to following the way of Jesus by living out five practices: We pray, study the scriptures, serve others, hang out, and talk about Jesus. To be a part of Tapestry is to practice these things together.

Tapestry Church is committed to following the way of Jesus right here in the neighborhood where we live. We want Tuscany to be an even better place because we're a part of it. Here's what we love (our values):
- God - We delight in God and follow after Jesus
- People - Doing life together as we give ourselves away
- Scripture - We love it, learn it and live it
- Transformation - Becoming more and more in every way like Christ
