28/10/09 05:49

Please check the printout at church, confirm the information for your family is correct, then initial beside your name indicating you give consent to having your information published in the directory. If you're "new" to Tapestry and not in our current directory, be sure to add your information so we can include you in the updated directory.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Operation Christmas Child (OCC), a project of Samaritan's Purse, brings the message of God's unconditional love to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes. You or your family can be a part of bringing hope and joy to a needy child by packing your own shoe box! Boxes and information brochures are available at church. Packed shoe boxes can be brought to church on Sunday, November 22. For more information on OCC, click here.
BREAKFORTH
Join 15,000 other people from over 1,000 churches at the largest equipping and renewal conference in North America - Break Forth Canada 2010, January 29-31 in Edmonton. For more information, pick up a brochure at church. If you're interested in going, please contact Ver Averion at bench815@hotmail.com, as he's organizing a group from Tapestry.
BIRTHDAYS THIS WEEK...
Birthday blessings to the following people who are celebrating a birthday this week...Cathy Morrison (Oct. 29) and Steve Rathje (Oct. 29). Did we miss you or someone in your family? Let Steve know and we'll update our records.
GOD'S WORD IN YOU
We only have two verses left in the Scripture Memory Challenge (a verse a week for 52 weeks)! As an added incentive to hide God's Word in your heart, Steve will take anyone and everyone out for dinner who is able to quote all 52 verses! Bible Memory brochures with the verses are available on the information table at church, or contact Steve and he'll send you a copy.
Here's the memory verse for this week: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8)
SERMON SCRIPTURE
Our passage this week, Acts 27:1-28:10, is a real-life adventure story...stormy seas, a shipwreck and a bite from a venomous snake! Check it out ahead of time!
