Women's Retreat
The Midwest Baptist Association is sponsoring a women's retreat on October 3 (7:00 - 9:00 pm) and October 4th (9:00 am - 3:30 pm) at Richmond Hill Baptist Church in Calgary. Come for a time of encouragement, enrichment, inspirational teaching and worship! Appetizers/desserts are provided on Friday evening and lunch is provided on Saturday. Cost: $40. Baby Showers
There are a couple of showers/parties planned in celebration of two beautiful baby girls...
We will hosting another Discovery Class on Sunday, September 28 immediately following morning worship at Max & Lynda Blazina's. This is a great opportunity to learn what our church is about, where we sense God is leading us and how you can be part of the Tapestry family. Pizza lunch will be provided. Please sign-up by contacting Steve (403-375-0061). Note, this is the final opportunity to be listed as a charter member of Tapestry.
A Note from the Elders
As a followup to the announcement on Sunday, September 7, the transition team and the elders are pleased to present Steve Rathje to serve as Pastor (Lead Elder) for Tapestry Church. Steve has served as an interim leader since March. He has consistently demonstrated Christ-like character and servant leadership. We acknowledge God's call on his life and desire to partner with him as he seeks to live out that call. Please join us in prayer as we will vote this Sunday, September 21.
