There will be a quick congregational meeting following the morning worship service on Sunday, June 15 to discuss and vote on an affidavit declaring that we are a "bona fide church organization". Please note that Friday night prayer (normally the first and third Friday of every month) is canceled for this week. However, there are many things you can be bringing before the Lord on your own, with your family and in your small group, including:
- Genns - They are back home (yeah!) where lil'
Gus is continuing to recover from his heart
surgery. Please continue to pray for his
recovery and for Josh and Kelly who are feeling
tired.
• Taits - Josh and Khara are in Prince Rupert, BC where they are leading a team in ministry to the community. Pray for them as they seek to build relationships with people, discern God's leading and serve the community. You can read more on their blog.
• Tapestry Church Plants - Please remember to pray for Nick and Cerena (Rocky Ridge), Brooke and Kelly (Citadel) and Jason and Leigh (Medicine Hat) as they seek to share Jesus and start new churches in these communities. Pray for strength, encouragement and open doors for ministry. For Citadel and Medicine Hat, pray that God will assemble a core group for each.
• Summer Ministry - Tapestry is gearing up for some intensive ministry to our community during the first 2 weeks of July. Pray that all our plans will come together with God's guidance and that our ministry efforts will be fruitful and effective. Stay tuned for more details and how you can be involved!
